Amanda Viebrock

About Me: My name is Amanda Viebrock and I joined the Waterville School Board in 2017.  I grew up in Waterville and attended Waterville Elementary and High School.  Upon graduation I attended Washington State University and in 2013 purchased Waterville Family Foods.

I have a daughter attending Waterville Elementary; this is not the only reason I am interested in serving on the school board but also because I would like to see our youth have the same opportunity to succeed as I did nearly twenty years ago.  I appreciate the progressiveness this district has taken as far as programs offered and being a “Leader In Me” school.  I look forward in being part of the team that is responsible for creating community-wide visions and goals and working toward reaching the districts goals in student improvement and achievement.

Marty Wachtel

About Me:  My name is Martin Wachtel. I became a school board member in 2022.  I am the IT Director at HighLine Grain Growers. My wife and I moved to Waterville in 2018. We love being a part of the Waterville community.

I am the father of two young daughters. My most important role is providing them with the best life possible, one that is safe and fulfilling.

Having grown up in a small town, I have an immense appreciation for community support in education and sports. Now, having children of my own, it is very important to me that parents have a voice in the educational environment and future of their children.

I am excited to be a part of the Waterville School Board and look forward to giving back to this great community.
